Australian Shepherds are so smart and so eager to please. Working breeds, in general, love having a job and thrive in those conditions where they’re given tasks. Well, one pup on TikTok was not “given” a task, per say, but heard an assignment being given out, and that was more than enough of an invite for them to join right in!
Yuki sees that her new brother Butters is receiving some training. What’s a sister to do? Well, what any self-respecting Australian Shepherd *should* do! She jumps right in, performing the obedience commands being asked of Butters.
The way she’s doing them in the background perfectly without even getting any rewards is just too adorable. These dogs live to perform and please, and Yuki is just an absolute sweetheart.
At the end, she finally looks a little disappointed she didn’t get a reward for any of her endeavors, LOL. Poor girl.
Looks like there’s some kind of mass revolt going on in the comments section. People are outraged that Yuki wasn’t seen getting a treat and won’t rest until she’s given one! “You better fix this and give good doggo treatos,” said one commenter. Another won’t stop until proof is offered, “So we do need proof that she did, in fact, get her treatos.” LOLOL. The creator responded with, “I will give proof. Posting the full video so everyone can sleep easy.”
This “Proof of Treat” video has not been posted yet. There is, however, an adorable one of Yuki and Butters just being amazing siblings together. They’re so beautiful and getting along wonderfully, their “brother and sister” relationship being a mere 2 months old:
Dogs and Allelomimetic Behavior
Quite simply, allelomimetic behavior is the natural inclination a new pup has to “follow the lead” of the older dog, and thereby learn from them. It’s “emulated behavior,” and in a situation like Yuki and her brother, the best way to train in a new pup, because they learn so much from the older dog. A well-trained dog with a great temperament is a fantastic role model for Butters.

Yuki’s a natural born teacher, and he’ll pick up on so much from her that in no time, he’ll be mirroring her.
