FAIRFAX, VA (Amazing America) — Admit it, we’ve all thought our dog was the coolest canine on four legs, right?
Well, Fairfax, Virginia’s Teresa Hanula, may have put us all to shame with her incredible dog, Leonard Lee.
Don’t feel too bad—Hanula is a certified dog trainer. But what she and Leonard Lee have done is next level.
The 6-year-old Border Collie also swims, loves horseback riding, enjoys canine parkour (yes, that’s a thing), and can balance books on his head. And yes, he holds the record for that, too. In December 2024, he earned his second world record for the greatest distance covered by a dog balancing a book on its head in one minute — 56 ft 9 in.
Check him out live on “Good Morning Washington,” which airs on our sister station WJLA in Washington, D.C.
So what’s next for Leonard Lee? If you think he’s going to rest on his laurels, you’re barking up the wrong tree. Along with setting new world records, Leonard Lee is currently on tour and auctions some of his paintings to raise money for “paw-sitive” causes that support dogs in need.
