If you’ve wanted to try a new type of exercise and excitement with your dog, Heartland Mushers Association is ready to train you today in New Paris.
The Mushing 101 event will teach dog owners and their pets to follow commands and mush safely at Benton Dam-River Preserve County Park today from 1pm-3pm.
Dryland mushing uses mostly gear with bikes and canicross. Dog owners are invited to bring their canines and see if they have what it takes to mush.
